We "officially" confirmed our pregnancy through an ultrasound on Friday (March 16th), after a 2hr wait in a tiny clinic in Portsmouth. They don't have the normal methods of confirming pregnancy, they only have blood tests or ultrasounds. Since ultrasounds are not only more fun but also way cheaper, that's the normal method. When I went to the health clinic on campus, the Doctor asked me if I had taken a pregnancy test at home, when I said that I had, she responded "oh, ok. You're pregnant, would you like the confirmation ultrasound anyway?" It made me chuckle that they rely on home tests to know pregnancy results.
