Holiday Party

Busy, Busy, Busy!  With the holidays coming up, there's a lot to be done.  Yesterday, I woke up bright and early at 6am and got Sadie ready to go sell items at the 4th semester sale. No, we're not 4th semesters, but we've still accumulated a lot of things that we don't use/need anymore so I brought my laptop and Sadie watched Sesame Street clips and other kid TV shows while I sat at the table for 4hrs.  At noon, we packed up the remaining stuff and brought it back home only to turn around again and head back to school to help set up for the Holiday Party (hosted by Ross University for all Faculty/Staff/Student children).  The party was a ton of fun and a huge success, Sadie had so much fun, it was hard getting her to leave.  One of the main reasons Sadie was having so much fun was because it rained sporadically all afternoon.  At the party, there was Sand Art (which Sadie did all by herself, all I did was hold the container and the funnel, she chose all the colors and the amounts and put the sand in herself), a bouncy castle, face painting, ice cream, presents, and bubble machines. Can you say "Sadie Heaven"? Yes, yes it was.  All in all, a very busy weekend.  Thankfully, this next week slows tremendously as it is test week and the very next is Lincoln's final.  We love you all and can't wait to see many of you in only 11 days!
