Because of Ross, our little town of Picard has a unique mix of Canadian, American, and Dominican culture. This includes holidays (school doesn't get out for any of them though) A local restaurant, Tomatoes, offered a real Thanksgiving dinner on Saturday to celebrate. How could Lincoln and I resist? Especially since it was one of their cheapest meals. Sadie really enjoyed it as well and ate almost half of mine. Here's a little picture:
Yup,what you see there is turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing, corn, and cranberry sauce. It actually tasted a lot better than it looked (to me it looked really yummy). I think from now on, I may continue to celebrate Canada's Thanksgiving. After all, there's nothing wrong with wanting to show our thanks to Heavenly Father multiple times by the creating and consuming of delicious meals... is there?
