First, last weekend was the 180th Semiannual General Conference of the LDS Church. It was really great, many very uplifting messages from the leaders of the church. Another reason it was nice was because it was completely broadcast so we were able to watch it at home, making it easier to pay attention with Sadie playing. I made yummy cinnamon rolls for the event and I will be posting the recipe along with pictures soon.
Second, Lincoln just received an email with his myRoss student ID number so hopefully, in the next couple weeks, we'll gain access to Ross' housing database and will be able to figure out where we'll be living. I'll make sure to keep you updated with that as well.
Third, Sadie took her first steps!!!! (well, kinda, she only does it when she's really distracted) When Lincoln and I trick her into walking, she's really stable but the minute she realizes we're no longer behind her, she slowly (slowly and very controlled) sinks to her knees and does this "knee-walk". We've been trying to catch it on video. We'll post it on here when we're successful.
The last item hasn't happened yet, but we'll be getting Christmas pictures taken of Sadie this weekend so we'll actually have Christmas cards to send out this year!
