Baptism and other water adventures

Last Saturday, the 16th, Patricka was able to be baptized into the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.  There is no font here and with the pool being as public and well used as it is, the best, most spiritual place for a baptism is the ocean! How cool is that?  It was a wonderful experience, one that I'm glad Sadie's been able to witness.

After the baptism, Sadie enjoyed exploring the rocks and ocean with her new friends (also from AZ, they moved in right next to us so we tend to see them a lot). The Milczarek family has 5 children: Taelor, Dylan, Chaise, Dax, and Clayton; they are absolutely in love with Sadie so the arrangement works out well... At least for me it does, any time we're together it's like I have instant babysitters! Yay!  They actually know Lincoln's grandparents, Mac and Ouida, from when they were in the same AZ area together, small world.

Because both the ocean and the pool were too warm to cool down in (sad, right?) we decided to all go to the freshwater river right by our houses to cool off.  Sadie and I had already wetted our swimsuits trying to cool off and since trying to wiggle a bouncing, giggling, baby back into an already wet and sticky swimsuit is really difficult, Sadie just went in a diaper.  Worked out really well, the water was icy cold and was just what the doctor ordered for such a hot day.

Will this next bundle of wiggles be a boy or a girl?
